Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> ARCHITECTURAL <br /> 1.The occupancy is considered to B occupancy as indicated on Sheet A-1. <br /> Previous records indicate the building is not sprinkler'd. For non-sprinkler'd <br /> buildings, corridors where the occupant load being served is greater than 30 are <br /> required to have 1-hr fire protection per IEBC 804.1, IBC 1020.1 and Table <br /> 1020.1. Please indicate that proposed walls are 1-hr fire rated or revise plans to <br /> indicate that corridor walls are to receive a 1-hr fire resistance and the <br /> proposed relocation and new doors are 20-min fire-rated per IBC Table 716.5. <br /> 2. Sheet A-1 includes a note for Fire Protection referencing sprinkler work that <br /> is"N.I.C.". However,this suggests that sprinklers are part of the tenant <br /> improvement (TI)to be done separately from the building permit. Please <br /> confirm that sprinklers are proposed to be added to this floor or clarify these <br /> notes. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary <br /> to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction <br /> documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response <br /> letter indicating how the corrections were resolved. <br /> PERMIT SERVICES <br /> All codes cited refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), 2015 <br /> Q3200 Cedar Street International Existing Building Code (IEBC),the 2015 International Fire Code <br /> Everett,WA 98201 (IFC),the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC),and/or the 2015 <br /> Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington <br /> Q425.257.8810 and adopted by the City of Everett.
