DizgAt <br /> .4111116 <br /> Pizza Hut Team Member Food Safety Training <br /> Supporting HACCP Plans <br /> All Pizza Hut team members will be trained using the Pizza Hut Food Safety for Team Members <br /> training program by a Manager using the approved HACCP plans prior to handling food and at <br /> a minimum on an annual recertification after that time. Team member training at Pizza Hut will <br /> include identification of the processes within the restaurant that are critical control points,how <br /> these process should be executed and will be monitored,and what corrective actions must be <br /> taken by team members and management when critical controls are violated. The approved <br /> HACCP plan will be available within the food preparation area of the Pizza Hut restaurant at all <br /> times. <br /> Pizza Hut utilizes a structured Daily Food Safety Checklist to monitor equipment and product <br /> temperatures and control settings as well as required food handling, sanitation,hygiene and pest <br /> management practices. The checklist also includes a section for corrective action taken when <br /> deficiencies are noted. The Pizza Hut Daily Food Safety Checklist is completed twice per day, <br /> maintained in the food preparation area, and held for a minimum of 4 weeks for review and <br /> auditing by management, internal auditors and third party auditors, as part of the HACCP <br /> monitoring system. <br /> Pizza Hut team member training also includes training in basic sanitation,including hand washing <br /> procedures and methods for cleaning and sanitizing utensils,equipment,and food preparation <br /> surfaces.
