This agreement formally establishes the terms <br />and conditions for District #15 to be reimbursed for eligible expenses related to starting their <br />drone program. <br />There are no costs to the city, these are pass through grant funds earmarked for Fire District 15. <br /> <br />Project summary statement: <br />Everett Fire, in partnership with Tulalip Bay Fire and Tulalip Police, made application to Tulalip <br />Cares Charitable Contributions Fund for three identical drone packages. <br />Typical fire department uses of drones include search and rescue over land and water, to include <br />Jetty Island and Port Gardner Bay, thermal imaging reconnaissance for major fire events, and <br />capture of imagery for investigations and training purposes. <br /> <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement Between Snohomish County Fire <br />Protection District 15 and the City of Everett at no additional cost to the city. <br />
