For context, she's requesting an ADU that is technically prohibited at this time
in her current zone. However her property is proposed to be rezoned to R2 during the rethink process which would
allow for the ADU. The other plan reviewers have also already conducted their reviews and approved the permit.
Thoughts?
Kelsey Heyd
Associate Planner I Community, Planning & Economic Development
425.257.8731 1 3200 Cedar Street 2"d FI., Everett, WA 98201
EVERETT everettwa.i?ov I Facebook I Twitter
Please reference our website & online resources for updates to our service. I noticed from your links below that the hearing is actually this month, and that a decision
will be made by September/ October.
Is it possible to keep our application on file until after the hearing just in case ADUs are permitted after that hearing?
Also, is there a way for our application to be
revisited at that time if it stays on file? It has been 8 weeks since we applied and afraid to go back in line in September/
October if this has changed.
What are your recommendations?
Thanks,
Dora Lubwama
On Tue, Aug 4, 2020 at 9:09 AM Kelsey Heyd <KHevd@everettwa.eov> wrote:
Good Morning Dora,
Thank you for submitting a construction permit for an Accessory Dwelling Unit at 1218 59t" PI SW, permit B2005-029.
This property is zoned R-3; in accordance with Table 5.1 of EMC 19.05, Accessory Dwelling Units are a prohibited use in
the R-3 zone.
