New work will consist of general mechanical repairs as needed, ductwork and diffusors <br />to accommodate new work, new control system, new accessories and commissioning. <br />This path includes all mandatory <br />provisions per C401.2 Option 2. <br />MECH-SUM, MECH-CHK, and C407 <br />Energy Analysis forms required. <br />❑ Load calculation summary ❑ MECH-LOAD-CALC Form <br />Design Load Calculations <br />Provide design load calculations for all mechanical systems and equipment serving the building heating, cooling or <br />ventilating needs. If a load calculation summary is provided with the permit documents that includes all applicable <br />compliance information then the MECH-LOAD-CALC form is not required. <br />❑ Mechanical Plans ❑ MECH-EQ Forms (TBD) <br />Mechanical Schedules <br />Indicate location of equipment compliance information. If provided on plans then MECH-EQ forms are not required, <br />however, include on plans all applicable compliance information listed in MECH-EQ tables. <br />❑ DOAS is required per C403.6 effective July 1, 2017 (office, retail, education, library and fire station occupancies) <br />All occupied, conditioned areas shall be served by a DOAS that delivers required ventilation air in a manner that does <br />not require space conditioning fan operation.
