However,the submitted documents are not sufficient <br /> for us to perform a review at this time. Revised construction-level documents need to be submitted for <br /> review. Preliminary comments are provided below to assist in revising the drawings, but these are not <br /> intended to provide a comprehensive review. <br /> 1. The submitted drawings include multiple sizes and revisions of some sheets. Two copies of the final <br /> versions of the drawings should be provided. The drawing sheet sizes should be such that the scales <br /> one the drawings are correct. It is the applicants responsibility to properly assemble the drawing sets. <br /> 2. The submitted drawings only include one full-size copy of the site plan. Two copies should be <br /> provided. <br /> 3. The Revised Code of Washington (RCW) Chapter 64.55 requires applications for exterior work on <br /> multiunit residential buildings to include a statement addressing the building enclosure. The <br /> statement shall specify the option by which the project will comply with Chapter 64.55. The applicant <br /> shall include this statement in the construction documents. Documentation as required by Chapter <br /> 64.55 shall be submitted for review. Depending on the option selected,the drawings must be stamped <br /> by an architect licensed in the state of Washington, and additional details should be provided. <br /> 4. The proposed work includes adding structural sheathing to the roof. The structural engineer should <br /> verify that the proposed work complies with IEBC Section 707.2. A statement should be included in the <br /> drawings. Calculations should be submitted for review as needed. <br /> 5. The drawing specify the use of 8d nailing for the roof sheathing. The drawings should clarify that <br /> common nails are required. Due to nailing through the existing boards,the FOR should verify that the <br /> minimum nailing embedment into the framing as required by the AWC SDPWS-15 will be achieved, or <br /> longer nails should be specified. <br /> Review of your project will be performed in the order received once the required documentation has been <br /> submitted.
