As the county <br /> seat and location for many related services,Everett has been particularly impacted. Additional resources are urgently needed to <br /> coordinate response efforts to connect unsheltered residents with services and shelter,and to provide ongoing safety and sanitation <br /> for our businesses and neighborhoods. <br /> This amendment will fund a Homelessness Response Coordinator position to develop and coordinate strategies to alleviate chronic <br /> homelessness. The new Coordinator position will be added to the Community Development team. A three-person street crew is also <br /> proposed to respond to and address encampments.
