l ORDINANCE NO. 3756 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett, Washington, adopting the codification of all ordinances of the City of Everett of a general, public or permanent nature as the official Code of said City as provided for and pursuant to Chapter 97,- Laws of 1957, R. C. W. 35 .21 .500-- 35 .21 .570 . WHEREAS, Section 147 of the Charter of the City of Everett provides that the council shall cause all general ordinances to be compiled and, together with the charter, to be published in book form; and WHEREAS , a two-volume codification of such general ordi- nances which is entitled, "Everett City Code" has now been completed and a printed copy thereof filed with the City Clerk ; and WHEREAS, Chapter 97, Laws of 1957, R. C. W. 35 .21.500-- 35.21 .570, provides for the adoption of such codification by enacting an ordinance adopting such codification as the official Code of such City, and sets forth certain procedural requirements therein for such adoption, which requirements have been fully complied with; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Commission of the City of Everett, Washington, as follows : Section 1 . That the said codification of the ordinances of the City of Everett of a general, public or permanent nature as contained and set forth in a two-volume printed copy thereof on file in the office of the City Clerk entitled "Everett City Code , " be and the same is hereby adopted as the Official Code of the City of Everett, as provided for by Chapter 97, Laws of 1957, R. C. W. 35.21 .500-- 35.21 .570 . Section 2. As provided for by R. C. W. 35 .21 .550, copies of such code in published form shall be received without further proof as the ordinances of permanent and general effect of the City of Everett by all courts and administrative tribunals of this state .
