ORDINANCE NO. 3751 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF EVERETT IN COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 128 OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON, 1945. WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners of more than seventy-five percent (75%) in value according to the assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for which annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a description of the property according to governmental legal subdivisions and legal plats, and which petition was accompanied by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the property sought to be annexed, has been filed with the City Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, and WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the city of Everett, a municipal corporation, did fix the 3rd day of February, 1960, for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a news- paper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the annexation, and WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set forth, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: SECTION 1: That the property hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett effective the /s-t day of /{/e / '/ , 1960: Begin at the intersection of the south line of 43rd Street with the west line of Section 32, Township 29 North, Range 5 EWM, thence N 49°26 '02" E 192.34 ft. ; thence N 38°06 '35" E 304.02 ft. ; thence S 86°27'18" E 50.14 ft. ; thence N 1°55 '02" E 288.13 ft. ; thence N 44°29 ' E 190.71 ft. ; thence N 6°40'54" E 295 ft. , m/1, to an intersection with the southerly right of way margin of 41st St. ; thence northeasterly along said southerly margin of 41st Street to an intersection with the north line of said Section 32; thence westerly along said north line of Section 32 to corner common to Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32, Township 29 North, Range 5 EWM; thence southerly along the west line of said Section 32 for 1153.64 ft. to the point of beginning. SECTION 2: That upon the annexation of the property hereinabove set forth said land thereof annexed shall become a part of Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force, PROVIDED that no property within the limits of the annexed territory shall ever be taxed or assessed to pay any portion of any indebtedness of Everett contracted prior to the
