ORDINANCE NO. 3751 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT IN COMPLIANCE WITH CHAPTER 128 OF THE LAWS OF THE STATE <br /> OF WASHINGTON, 1945. <br /> WHEREAS, a petition in writing signed by the owners of <br /> more than seventy-five percent (75%) in value according to the <br /> assessed valuation for general taxation of the property for <br /> which annexation was petitioned, which petition set forth a <br /> description of the property according to governmental legal <br /> subdivisions and legal plats, and which petition was accompanied <br /> by a plat and drawing which outlined the boundaries of the <br /> property sought to be annexed, has been filed with the City <br /> Commissioners of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Commissioners of the city of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, did fix the 3rd day of February, 1960, <br /> for hearing upon said petition and caused notice of hearing to <br /> be published in one issue of the Everett Daily Herald, a news- <br /> paper of general circulation in the city, and caused said notice <br /> also to be posted in three places within the territory proposed <br /> for annexation, which notice as published and as posted <br /> specified the time and place of hearing and invited interested <br /> persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the <br /> annexation, and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing the Commissioners of <br /> Everett, a municipal corporation, have determined to annex all <br /> of the property described in the petition as hereinafter set <br /> forth, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: That the property hereinafter described be, <br /> and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Everett <br /> effective the /s-t day of /{/e / '/ , 1960: <br /> Begin at the intersection of the south line of <br /> 43rd Street with the west line of Section 32, <br /> Township 29 North, Range 5 EWM, thence N 49°26 '02" <br /> E 192.34 ft. ; thence N 38°06 '35" E 304.02 ft. ; <br /> thence S 86°27'18" E 50.14 ft. ; thence N 1°55 '02" <br /> E 288.13 ft. ; thence N 44°29 ' E 190.71 ft. ; thence <br /> N 6°40'54" E 295 ft. , m/1, to an intersection with <br /> the southerly right of way margin of 41st St. ; <br /> thence northeasterly along said southerly margin <br /> of 41st Street to an intersection with the north <br /> line of said Section 32; thence westerly along said <br /> north line of Section 32 to corner common to <br /> Sections 29, 30, 31 and 32, Township 29 North, <br /> Range 5 EWM; thence southerly along the west line <br /> of said Section 32 for 1153.64 ft. to the point <br /> of beginning. <br /> SECTION 2: That upon the annexation of the property <br /> hereinabove set forth said land thereof annexed shall become <br /> a part of Everett, a municipal corporation, and shall be <br /> subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in <br /> force, PROVIDED that no property within the limits of the <br /> annexed territory shall ever be taxed or assessed to pay any <br /> portion of any indebtedness of Everett contracted prior to the <br />
