• <br /> October 13, 2021 <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Bader provided a liaison report from his attendance at the <br /> Snohomish Health District Board meeting. He encouraged everyone to get their <br /> COVID-19 vaccination. <br /> Council Member Vogeli provided a liaison report from her attendance at the <br /> Westmont-Holly Neighborhood Association meeting last evening. She also noted <br /> she would not be available to attend the Lowell Neighborhood meeting next week <br /> and requested attendance by one of her colleagues. Council Member Vogeli <br /> requested Consent Item No. 6 be moved to Action Items to allow for discussion. <br /> She also spoke about the possibility of installing a speed bump on Norton Avenue <br /> and requested the Public Works Department provide information about the <br /> impacts for stalled cars or speeding drivers, and the feasibility of creating a one- <br /> way street that allows for south flow only. <br /> Council Member Roberts provided a liaison report from his meeting with Planning <br /> staff. He thanked staff for their work on Rethink Housing and for discussion about • <br /> Comprehensive Plan and Baker Heights, as well as an update on the pallet shelter <br /> project. He also reported on his attendance, on behalf of Council Member Tuohy, <br /> at the Cultural Arts Commission meeting. He announced the Pacific Chamber <br /> Orchestra is planning a concert on December 5, and he requested that Tyler Chism <br /> provide information to all council members. Council Member Roberts also <br /> reported that he attended the Riverside Neighborhood Association meeting. <br /> Council Member Murphy commented on the Mayor's budget address. He stated <br /> that he met with Mayor Franklin and President Stonecipher regarding the $20 <br /> million in American Rescue Plan (ARP) funding. He requested the acceleration of <br /> a discussion by Council by two to three weeks regarding the use of ARP funds as <br /> part of the budget for 2022. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE <br /> In response to Council Member Murphy's request, Deputy Mayor Nick Harper <br /> stated that he would coordinate a discussion among Administration, President <br /> Stonecipher, and Council Member Murphy regarding ARP funding. <br /> r <br /> 2 <br />
