The budget for the engineering support services is $50,000. Project summary statement: 2812 architecture has been selected from the Municipal Research & Service Center (MRSC) Small Works Roster to provide design services for the Water Filter Plant's Filter Building Roof Replacement Project. Scope of Professional Services includes preparation of architectural drawings and specifications suitable for permit application and project solicitation, design development, cost estimation, construction documents and construction administration. Additional scope includes 150 hours of on -call services. Roof replacement includes the Water Filter Plant's Filter Building (21,530) sq ft. Construction is anticipated to start June 2022 and be completed by August 2022. Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with 2812 Architecture to provide architectural design services for the 2022 Water Filter Plant's Filter Building Roof Replacement Project in the amount of $42,110.00.
