Please see below for needed corrections before Planning can approve your proposal. <br />1. Per Table 36-2 the maximum sign area for a wall sign in Sign Category `B' is the greater of 32 sq. ft. or 15% of the <br />area of the building facade. You show the building to be 26' x 9' which would permit a maximum wall sign of 35 <br />sq. ft. however, you are proposing a 47.5 sq. ft. sign. Please confirm calculations and revise plans showing the <br />size of the sign will not exceed maximum standards. <br />2. Note. EMC 19.36.040.C.2.a. states wall signs shall be located to not cover windows, or trim.
