Support of Entry Signage <br />The following are the structural requirements for supporting the entry signage indicated in sheets <br />11 & 12 (Triton+Builds project #1102182) dated Feb 22, 2019: <br />• 5/16" SS lag screw in each of (6) holes in faceplate. Extend lags 2 %" into new blocking in <br />wall. Sign designer to verify compatibility (i.e. corrosion) of SS lags with faceplate material <br />and finish. <br />• New 4 x 8 edgewise wood blocking within ex parapet wall and located at top and at bottom <br />row of lags. Place blocking between parapet studs and provide A34 clip t & b ea end of each <br />block. <br />• At each parapet stud supporting new 4x8 blocking, provide new straps at north side of studs <br />per Option 1 or Option 2: <br />1. Replace ex CS16 strap (ref 10/S412 case 1) with new CS14 strap of same length and <br />location. <br />2. Add new CS16 strap adjacent to ex CS16 strap (ref 10/S412 case 1). New strap shall <br />be of same length and elevation as adjacent ex strap.
