LE EVERETT WASHINGTON Exhibit H Portable Mounds The portable mounds are required to be kept in a useable condition. The Association is responsible for the installation and removal of the portable mounds. The association is responsible for the condition of the portable mounds during installation, use and removal. City responsibility: • Wash, clean and inspect the portable mounds weekly. The Association responsibility: • Install and remove the portable mounds as directed by their scheduled use. • Will be responsible for any damage to the portable mounds as determined by the City. • Will notify the City of any damage immediately by either notifying onsite staff if available or contacting the league main contact with the City. Installation of portable mounds: • Suggest using 4 people for lifting and setting portable mound • Use proper lifting mechanics To place mound in play: • Carry mound to pitchers area and line up blue tassels with notches along the side mound (alignment will ensure proper plate distance). Removal of portable mounds: • Pick up and carry mound to the first base side of the field beyond the dugouts. • Lay the portable mound flat and lay in "playing position", green side up and on the artificial turf in the area behind the coaches' box next to the fence. • Area will be marked by spray painted white corners on fields 1,2 and 4. • For field #3, place mound on 1st base side past the equipment gate on the artificial turf in the area indicated by white, spray painted corners.
