LE EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> Exhibit H <br /> Portable Mounds <br /> The portable mounds are required to be kept in a useable condition. The Association is <br /> responsible for the installation and removal of the portable mounds. The association is <br /> responsible for the condition of the portable mounds during installation, use and removal. <br /> City responsibility: <br /> • Wash, clean and inspect the portable mounds weekly. <br /> The Association responsibility: <br /> • Install and remove the portable mounds as directed by their scheduled use. <br /> • Will be responsible for any damage to the portable mounds as determined by the City. <br /> • Will notify the City of any damage immediately by either notifying onsite staff if <br /> available or contacting the league main contact with the City. <br /> Installation of portable mounds: <br /> • Suggest using 4 people for lifting and setting portable mound <br /> • Use proper lifting mechanics <br /> To place mound in play: <br /> • Carry mound to pitchers area and line up blue tassels with notches along the side <br /> mound (alignment will ensure proper plate distance). <br /> Removal of portable mounds: <br /> • Pick up and carry mound to the first base side of the field beyond the dugouts. <br /> • Lay the portable mound flat and lay in "playing position", green side up and on the <br /> artificial turf in the area behind the coaches' box next to the fence. <br /> • Area will be marked by spray painted white corners on fields 1,2 and 4. <br /> • For field #3, place mound on 1st base side past the equipment gate on the artificial turf <br /> in the area indicated by white, spray painted corners. <br /> H1 <br />
