November 24, 2021 <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin was excused. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Update on Snohomish County's Sheltering & Services Strategies <br /> Presented By: Michael Fong, Kelsey Nyland and Mary Jane BrelI- <br /> Vujovic, Snohomish County <br /> Discussion ensued regarding mental health, the timeline for community <br /> engagement and the project, potential zoning issues and regulations pertaining to <br /> the project, impacts on City services, partnering with other jurisdictions, average <br /> length of stay, management services and capital improvements to the facility and <br /> surrounding areas. <br /> Council Member Murphy wanted to remind the community that this Saturday is <br /> Small Business Saturday and to help keep the dollars in the community and assist <br /> in recovery. <br /> Council Member Roberts attended the Northwest Neighborhood meeting and <br /> stated the Arboretum Wintertide Lights will start December 15t and run through <br /> December 315t <br /> Council Member Vogeli stated she is making homemade socks and handing them <br /> out to the homeless on the streets. <br /> Council Member Tuohy wanted to remind citizens about Small Business Saturday. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Deputy Mayor Nick Harper had no updates. Lori Cummings wanted to let Council <br /> know that her and the team will be gathering call related data discussed during <br /> the presentation from Snohomish County. <br /> 2 <br />
