STORM DRAINAGE OPERATIONS&MAINTENANCE MANUAL SEPTEMBER 25,2019 <br /> EMORYS VALET PARKING 3 <br /> MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS: <br /> The text below provides general guidelines for the maintenance of facilities and a description of <br /> specific requirements for on-site facilities. Where applicable, the standard DOE Manual <br /> maintenance standards are referenced and included at the back of this report.The DOE Manual <br /> can be located on-line at the Washington State Department of Ecology Website. <br /> General: <br /> 1. Proper maintenance of public and private stormwater facilities is necessary to <br /> ensure they serve their intended function <br /> 2. Drainage systems shall be inspected at least annually. A representative of the <br /> local government should also inspect private facilities at least annually to ensure <br /> compliance by the owner of the following maintenance requirements. <br /> 3. Any deterioration threatening the structural integrity of the facilities shall be <br /> immediately repaired. These include such things as replacement of clean-out grates, <br /> catch basin lids, and rock in emergency spillways. <br /> 4. Debris shall be regularly removed from surface basins used for either peak-rate <br /> control or stormwater treatment. <br /> 5.
