Please review and respond to the comments below. <br /> 1. The provided submittal appears to provide computations for a component- <br /> based approach in order to satisfy WSEC R402.1.4,Total UA Alternative. The <br /> proposed addition is required to have a Proposed UA less than or equal to the <br /> Target UA. The calculations appear to show a Proposed UA of 468 and a Target <br /> UA of 314. Please verify and revise the calculations and proposed construction <br /> such that the thermal building envelope meets the minimum Target UA <br /> requirement. WSEC R402.1.4. <br /> 2. The submittal documents provided appear to be missing the required energy <br /> credits for an addition to the single-family residence. For additions less 500 ft2, <br /> this would appear to require a minimum of 0.5 energy credits. Please indicate <br /> and revise drawings such that one of the options from WSEC Table 406.2 are <br /> selected as an energy credit option and revise drawings as required. WSEC <br /> R406. <br /> RESUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue,it will be necessary <br /> to provide the Building Division with two new sets of revised construction <br /> documents reflecting the corrections requested.
