We are about to do our insulation in a few days. Our contractor recommends that we add an air ventilation channel along the roof joists.This 1-2 inch channel will,of course, space out our insulation 1-2 inches and thus provide R-15. I would prefer that vs furring out or other alternatives. As a reminder this is a semi heated space-a photo studio-that we just temper heat the bathroom (38 degrees) in the winter. We did convert the ramp to a landing and steps. Looks good,though it takes some getting used to as we had a ramp there for years to support my moms mobility... Sorry to be a pain,,, */ Cheers.
