I understand the frustration you must have experience with this incomplete or incorrect submission, I would <br /> like to start over.Since we have new plans and engineering most of the corrections do not specifically apply. I will <br /> however address each area of concern and ask SDA to do the same. <br /> DECKS:A new front Deck has been added(Clouded).There is no structural information on the existing house.Therefore, <br /> the Deck cannot rely on the house for support. I have designed the Deck to be self-supporting.The rear Deck shown in <br /> original plans was either removed before my client bought the house or never built. <br /> GARAGES:The original Carport was enclosed to create a new two car garage(Clouded).A non-structural curtain wall was <br /> created in the rear.The wall will be on a new curb attached to the existing slab(See A-3.1).The Garage Doors are <br /> framed in another front non-structural curtain wall set back from existing beam.The entire garage is to be 5/8 Fire- <br /> Coded Sheetrock.A new door was added to the Existing Boat(storage)Garage. <br /> NEW MASTER BATH:The existing Guest Room was converted to a New Master Bath (Clouded).The window in the rear <br /> of the room was moved close to the corner and re-framed with a 4 x 6 header.A New Window was framed with a 4 x 6 <br /> header into the end wall.Closets were removed and new door has been added (See A-3) <br /> MASTER BEDROOM:Two 2'x 2'Windows have been framed with a 4 x 6 header into the end wall.The Existing Master <br /> Bath has been removed to form a new walk-in closet(See A-3). <br /> UNTOUCHED AREAS: I have marked the Area's where only cosmetic work was performed with a grid background and .7 <br /> labeled them "NO CHANGE AREA". <br /> FRONT SLIDING GLASS DOORS: Existing opening was for a 15'6"x 4'8"(80"of the floor).The window was removed and a <br /> new 144"x 80"XOOX custom glass slider(U17)was made to fit the opening(Clouded).The original Header was not <br /> disturbed.The span was reduced to accommodate the reduced width of the 12'door from the 15'6"existing window. <br /> KITCHEN WINDOW: The door was either removed before my client bought the house or was never built, <br /> windows were just replaced in existing openings. <br /> OTHER WINDOWS: The existing aluminum windows were replaced with vinyl windows in the same <br /> openings. <br /> I have included two engineering report on the Clearview Railings. One with surface mounts and one that <br /> attached to the Fascia(would be the 2 x 10's around the bottom). I will leave it to you to determine which <br /> complies with code.
