S •
Krueger Krafting
22901 58th Ave.W,Mountlake Terrace,WA 98043
206-819-2710 greg@kruegerkrafting.com
City of Everett 2-27-2020
In reference to your corrections record #B2002-012-1715 Rainier Ave.
Hello City of Kirk1ancYstaff,
The following items are in response to your letter dated: 02-25-2020
Please see revision Delta 1 on the drawings:
Building Department Comments:
1. Closet that enclosed the electrical panel has been removed.
2. Stair section provided with stair calculation.
3. Code reference section has been noted to R311.7.5.3.
4. Handrail section R311.7.8 noted and handrails drawn and noted for height on the plans.
5. Fire blocking under stairs noted on detail 1/A1.
6. Studs at the upper floor half wall now shown as full ht. studs from basement floor to top of
half wall.
7. Stair section provided in the drawing with the stair calculation. The discrepancy of how
many stairs on each drawing has been clarified.
8. The fire blocking in this instance was referring to the application when you have open
web floor joists and the area in the floor exceeds 1,000 sq. ft. and with solid saw joists
this would not apply. I was previously confused about why this was being asked for
and it has now been clarified. This note has been removed as it is moot and the fire
blocking in question has been provided at detail 4/D1. The detail reference on the plans
has been corrected as well.
9. New note #10 identifying draft stop blocking per section R301.12
Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Greg Krueger
