Geotecluucal Engineering Evaluation NGA File No. 1031018
Multi-Family Residential Development April 19,2018
Everett,Washington Summary-Page 2
We also performed on-site infiltration testing in accordance with the Department of Ecology's(DOE)2012
Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington, amended in 2014. Our on-site testing consisted
of performing two small pilot infiltration tests(PITs)within the general vicinity of proposed stormwater
infiltration areas. The subsurface soils generally consisted of dense silty fine to medium sand with gravel
that we interpreted as native glacial soils. Based on our field testing results, we have concluded that the
site soils are reasonably suitable for stormwater infiltration. In the attached report we have provided design
infiltration rates. We also include recommendations for erosion control, site preparation and grading,
structural fill, foundations, retaining walls and site drainage.
It has been a pleasure to provide service to you on this project. Please contact us if you have any questions
regarding this report or require further information.
Sincerely,
NELSON GEOTECHNICAL ASSOCIATES, INC.
Khaled M.
