The permit is to convert an illegal duplex back to a single family residence. My question is regarding the plan for the lower level. They are going to reveal the existing interior stairs so that there is interior access between the two floors, but there will also still be exterior access to the lower level. Would we consider the lower level attached accessory space(in this case they would be over the allowable),or can we look at this as we would a walkout basement? They are removing the kitchen and proposing a wet bar with a bar sink. Floor plans are attached.
