1 5. Permanent Stormwater Control Plan
' As discussed at the November 9, 2017, meeting between the Port of Everett team and the City of Everett
Planning Department, Jane Zimmerman, prior to retirement, had confirmed that the project does not require
any water quality or flow control improvements. Stormwater is managed through grading to encourage sheet
' flow toward the Snohomish River. The proposed trail has been designed to match existing topography for the
most part, thus during rainfall events runoff will follow the existing path over the trail on its way out to the
Snohomish River. All existing berm low points are maintained to allow stormwater to reach the river during
rainfall. See Table 5-1 for the project area summary and Appendix A3 for the proposed grading and drainage
plans.
Table 5-1: Project Area Summary
Total Project Area*
1.066 acres
New Hard Surfaces
0.648 acres
Replaced Hard Surfaces
0 acres
Converted Pervious Surfaces
0 acres
* Total project area excludes existing areas to be planted or to receive soil amendment that are otherwise undisturbed. Including plantings
and soil amendments, the disturbed area totals 3.212 acres.
6. Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan
' (SWPPP)
Stormwater Pollution Prevention BMPs will be provided to minimize the risk of sediment laden runoff entering
the natural drainage systems. The following list of BMPs will be provided throughout construction and
amended to meet site conditions as necessary. See Appendix B for the SWPPP.
• BMP C233: Silt Fence per City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 214
• BMP C220: Storm Drain Inlet Protection per City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 210
I
• BMP C105: Stabilized Construction Entrance/Exit per City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 201
• BMP C208: Triangular Silt Dike per City of Everett Standard Drawing No. 207
' • BMP C200: Interceptor Dike and Swale
7. Special Reports and Studies
Special reports prepared for the project include the Biological and Floodplain Assessment by Hart Crowser and
the Geotechnical Report by Landau Associates. These documents can be found in Appendix C.
Riverside Business Park — Port of Everett
5
