i I
Drew Martin
From: Drew Martin
Sent: Thursday, February 4, 2021 2:44 PM
To: 'dangarvida@gmail.com'
Cc: Eileen Hinkley
Subject: City of Everett Permit Services: 320 89th Street SE (B2012-042) - Second Building Intake
Review
Dan,
We have received a second submittal for this project. However, we cannot perform a review. The responses to
Comments 4 through 8 are insufficient. The comments address the 12x50 unpermitted edition on the east side of the
building. Per the available records, this addition was not building with a permit and therefore it is not legal. One of the
following actions must be taken:
A. Submit documentation substantiating that the addition was legally constructed with permits.
B. Revise the current construction drawings to show the addition as new construction. The addition must
comply with all current code requirements.
C. Demolish the unpermitted work.
Please also note that Comment 7 also addresses unpermitted construction in other areas of the existing house. The
response provided does not address these conditions. All unpermitted work that has been previously performed is
required to be shown as new work and must comply with current code requirements.
Revised documents must be submitted addressing these comments. The project will be reviewed in order once
submittal documents addressing the comments have been received.
Drew Martin, P.E.,S.E.
lAssociate Engineer—Commercial Plans Examiner I Permit Services
425.257.8813 13200 Cedar Street, 2nd Floor, Everett,WA 98201
EVERETT Hours: M/W/Th/F: 7:30am-12:OOpm & 1:00pm-3:00pm;Tu: 1:OOpm-3:OOpm
everettwa.gov I Facebook I Twitter
1
