2130 Colby Avenue <br /> Everett, Washington <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> A non-destructive inspection for the presence of asbestos containing building materials,and lead <br /> in paint was conducted on September 27th,2011 on the exterior the Van Valey House and <br /> adjacent carriage house,located at 2130 Colby Avenue in Everett,WA.This inspection was to <br /> identify asbestos containing materials,and lead in paint,affecting the reroofing and exterior <br /> painting project. Adam Clark of 2812 Architecture requested the asbestos inspection. Sara <br /> Knebel and Dan Shelly,AHERA certified building inspectors from The Knebel Company,Inc. <br /> conducted this asbestos inspection.The suspect bulk asbestos samples and total lead samples <br /> collected were analyzed by NVL Laboratories, Inc., which is a NVLAP and ELLAP certified <br /> laboratory.The following report contains material descriptions, sample locations, assessment of <br /> asbestos containing building materials, laboratory results and accreditation,and inspector <br /> certification. <br /> Asbestos, and lead in paint survey data from an inspection performed by The Knebel Company <br /> Inc. in June of 2002, were incorporated into this report.
