FCA Update cont. <br />Takeaways: <br />• General Government capital assets are currently funded at 1/2 of what <br />was recommended in the Facilities Condition Assessment. <br />• 45% of the deficiencies identified in the study are being deferred out <br />past the recommended timelines. <br />• External factors are increasing costs and lead times for project <br />completion. This means that the longer we wait to address our capital <br />needs, the more expensive and impactful to operations these issues will <br />be once addressed. <br />• Along with capital funding, sufficient staffing resources are needed to <br />coordinate the work. <br />21 <br />
