LALANDAU <br />ASSOCIA TES <br />EXHIBIT B <br />Port of Everett Combined Sewer Improvements Environmental <br />Support —Estimated Cost <br />The estimated budget is detailed in the table below and is based on the information provided to <br />Landau Associates, Inc. (LAI), our previous experience with similar projects, and on the assumptions <br />stated in Exhibit A. If unforeseen conditions are encountered or out -of -scope work or level of effort <br />are anticipated, we will bring these to your attention and seek modification to the scope of services <br />and budget, as appropriate. LAi will not exceed the total estimated fee for the above -described <br />services without prior authorization from the City. LAI's services will be provided on a time -and - <br />expenses basis in accordance with the attached compensation schedule, which represents an <br />approximately 5 percent discount of current LAI rates. <br />LAi recognizes that some of the scoped efforts may be duplicated when LAI supports both the City and <br />Port projects; in particular, these costs assume full-time on -site support during construction. <br />Efficiencies may be realized when the City and Port projects are implemented concurrently, and one <br />LAI field staff member is adequate to suppc&rt on -site needs of both. LAI costs to both the City and the <br />Port will be proportional to the level of effort required.
