Snohomish County uses its share of the State grant funds to create and <br />operate a multi -jurisdictional, regional task force to perform the address and residency <br />verifications. This interlocal agreement allows for the City of Everett to recoup police officer <br />overtime costs associated with task force participation through reimbursement from Snohomish <br />County using the State grant monies, up to the amount of $101,000 during the period of July 1, <br />2021 through June 30, 2022. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the interlocal agreement with Snohomish County regarding sex <br />offender address and residency verification program services. <br />
