She reviewed the history <br /> of the Bezos Academy and its interest in Everett as a potential location and <br /> partnership. <br /> A Bezos Academy video presentation followed. <br /> Emmanuel Imah explained his role with the Bezos Academy. He elaborated that <br /> children are at the center of every decision made at Bezos Academy. He stressed <br /> that all children — inclusive of race, gender, identity, ethnicity, language, <br /> immigration status, or family background — deserve opportunities to reach their <br /> full potential; the skills, talents, and time of each family is respected and valued; <br /> and joyful learning takes place through engaging, hands-on experiences in an <br /> inclusive and collaborative environment. <br /> 6 <br />
