City of Everett 00 2113 - 7 <br /> 2022 Tulalip Water Pipeline Mortar Repair UT 3774 <br /> b. Performance and payment bonds on forms provided by the City. <br /> c. Certificate of Insurance and additional insured endorsement, per <br /> ' SECTION 00 7200 of the Contract Documents. <br /> 3. A Contract shall not be formed until the Contract Documents are signed by <br /> the Mayor. <br /> 1.14 TIME OF COMPLETION <br /> A. The Contractor shall complete the Work on or before the date or dates specified <br /> in Section 00 5213 -AGREEMENT FORM. <br /> 1.15 WAGES <br /> A. All laborers, workmen, or mechanics in each trade or occupation employed in the <br /> performance of the Contract either by Contractor, Subcontractor, or other person <br /> ' doing Work shall be paid not less than the prevailing rate of wage as defined in <br /> RCW 39.12.010. Current prevailing wage rates may be found online at <br /> http://www.lni.wa.gov/TradesLicensing/PrevWage/WageRates/. The rules and <br /> regulations noted within the Contract Documents are available from: <br /> State of Washington Department of Labor and Industries <br /> Prevailing Wage Section <br /> PO Box 44540 <br /> Olympia, WA 98504-4540 <br /> (360) 902-5335 <br /> ' pw1@lni.wa.gov <br /> B. Bidders are advised to examine and to be thoroughly familiar with such <br /> ' requirements. No claim for additional compensation will be allowed that is based <br /> upon a lack of knowledge of these requirements or a failure to include adequate <br /> increases in such wages over the term of this Contract in the Bidder's bid price. <br /> 1.16 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY <br /> A. The Contractor will be required to assure that equal employment opportunities <br /> will be in effect to all individuals throughout the length of this Contract, pursuant <br /> to SECTION 00 7200, Part 7 "Labor Standards," of the Contract Documents. The <br /> ' Contractor must comply with all local, State and Federal laws pertaining to non- <br /> discrimination and equal employment opportunity. <br /> 1 .17 DBE/WBE SUBCONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. The Contractor is required to actively solicit bids for subcontract work from <br /> "Disadvantaged Business Enterprises" (DBE's) and "Women's Business <br /> Enterprises" (WBE's). The Contractor is required also to document such effort on <br /> 00 2113 - 7 INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br />
