December 17,2021
Assumptions:
• Project duration assumed to include up to three invoice periods.
• Up to two(2)progress reports and invoices will be prepared for this Scope of Services.
• There will be no in-person meetings with the City, only email and phone communication.
Deliverables:
• Consultant's Standard Monthly Progress Report/Invoice(up to two[2],hard copy)
Task 2 — Drainage Report Preparation
Consultant will prepare a full drainage report which will document the City's trail design and how it meets the
stormwater minimum requirements. Drainage report preparation will include the following work elements:
• Conduct site visit so the Consultant can familiarize themselves with the project site, drainage patterns,
adjacent topography and land use, sensitive areas, and identify if there are any areas of concern related
to project site drainage.
• Review the design plans prepared by City staff.
• Coordinate with City staff via email and Teams,as needed,to appropriately document the project and
to clearly show how the trail project is meeting the stormwater minimum requirements.
• Prepare a drainage report in support of the proposed trail improvements.Drainage report will follow City
of Everett standard drainage report format and its content will be brief and its size limited to match the
scale of this type of project. The level of effort associated with the preparation of the drainage report is
limited to the hours contained in the fee proposal.
Assumptions:
• Given the Site's proximity to Silver Lake and its runoff discharging into the lake nearby,a downstream
and upstream reconnaissance will not be conducted. Survey,City mapping and GIS information will be
used to identify and demonstrate the downstream runoff flow paths.
• Improvements will not trigger flow control or water quality treatment requirements.
• City to provide Consultant with calculations of City designed BMPs for discussion and inclusion in the
report.
• City to provide Consultant with determination of effective and ineffective impervious surfaces in
accordance with the 2019 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington.
• Consultant will create existing and proposed impervious area mapping in order to support the threshold
analysis for the project.
