<br />I. All construction sham, comply with the 3M International Building Code (IBC),
<br />Washington State regulations For barrier -free design, Washington State Energy
<br />Code, and all applicable local codes, ordinances and standards.
<br />2 The Contractor is to verify all existing conditions, dimensions, details, etc.
<br />and notify the Architect of any and all discrepancies prior to proceeding with the
<br />work.
<br />3, Do not scale drawings; dimensions govern. The Contractor shop notify the
<br />Architect immediately of any and all discrepancies. The drawing scales are
<br />indicated to provide visual proportion and should be verified with similar drawings
<br />and lasted dimensions,

<br />noted otherwise,
<br />5. Where devices or items or parts thereof are referred to in singular, it is
<br />intended that such shal, apply to as many such devices, items or parts as are
<br />required to properly complete the work.
<br />6, It shall, be the responsib ity of the Contractor to locate a„ existing utilities
<br />whether shown hereon or not and to protect them From damage. The
<br />Contractor shall, bear all expense of repair or replacement of utilities or other
<br />property damaged by operations in conjunction with the execution of his work,
<br />7, The Contractor will verify and conform to all requirements of all utility
<br />companies, unless noted otherwise in the plans and specifications.
<br />8. Existing elevations and locations to be joined shop be verified by the
<br />Contractor before construction 'layout. IF they differ from those shown on the
<br />drawings, the Contractor shall, notify the Architect, so modifications can be made
<br />before proceeding with the work.
<br />q, All debris shall, be removed from the premises and all areas shall be left in
<br />broom clean condition at all times.
<br />10. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of
<br />the occupants and workers at oll times.
<br />11. Fire extinguishers: Verify the requirements and locations with the Fire
<br />marshal. The Contractor is to supply fire extinguishers and cabinets, as required
<br />and/or as indicated on the drawings.

<br />13. The plans and specifications are minimums and where details are not
<br />specifically shown, consistent practices shall be used. Codes and ordinances take
<br />precedence over plans and specifications and wherever inconsistencies exist, it will
<br />be the Contractor's responsibility to immediately notify the Owner and provide
<br />acceptable corrections at no additional charge.
