As such, a settlement monitoring program consisting of detailed photographs and crack monitoring gauges installed on known cracks within the residence should be performed after the initial repairs to determine the extent of any future settlement or distress within the residence structure. We recommend that if any significant indications of additional settlement or distress are observed moving forward, that additional explorations along with additional analysis of the structural components of the residence be performed.
