This amendment seeks to provide $413,614.00 in additional funds for a <br />revised total compensation amount not to exceed $671,466.00. Project funding is <br />provided by Fund 336 — Water & Sewer System Improvements Fund <br />Project summary statement: Public Works seeks to amend a Professional Services <br />Agreement with Brown and Caldwell, Inc. for the Water Filter Plant Portal 4 <br />Improvements project. The original PSA was signed 6/1/2021 and included initial <br />engineering analysis and preliminary design services for the project. This amendment <br />will revise the agreement scope to include full project design, geotechnical services, <br />survey services, and consultant services during construction. This amendment will also <br />extend the agreement completion date and provide additional funds ($413,614.00) to <br />support the additional tasks. <br />Recommendation (exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign <br />Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Brown and Caldwell, <br />Inc., to provide engineering consultant services for the Water Filter Plant Portal 4 <br />Improvements project for a total amount not to exceed $671,466.00. <br />
