For this calculation,all decimal figures shall be rounded up in favor of more slots.MSO shifts <br /> will not be included in the total unless they are staffed continuously. <br /> During the course of the calendar year,battalion chiefs,captains,drivers and firefighters may <br /> access their accrued vacation hours in 24-hour increments for any open slots in columns 1-3. <br /> During the course of the calendar year any member may access their accrued vacation hours in <br /> 24-hour increments for any open slots in column 4 only with the approval of the Assistant Chief <br /> of Operations. <br /> An open slot is any slot where vacation has not been picked or where a vacation has been <br /> cancelled. <br /> During the course of the calendar year paramedics may access their accrued vacation hours in 24- <br /> hour increments for any open slots in column 5. <br /> During the course of the calendar year MSOs may access their accrued vacation hours in 24-hour <br /> increments for any open slots in column 6. <br /> 8. When an individual with carried-over vacation opts to take such vacation,it shall be added <br /> subsequent or prior to his/her regular vacation selection or it may be taken in any open vacation <br /> slot after the second round of selections. This option(4th person per slot)shall be limited to one <br /> (1)full year's vacation allotment per calendar year or such lesser amount as may have been earned <br /> in one(1)calendar year. <br /> 21 <br />
