EXHIBIT A
SCOPE OF WORK
Law enforcement pre-hire evaluations involve a lengthy process of gathering information from the referring
Department, which includes an interview with a Department representative who can provide corroborative evidence.
Once an applicant is scheduled, the psychological evaluation involves a one to two hour interview,as well as a
structured interview which examines topics related to police work, family history, individual strengths and
weaknesses, and communication skills. Once the results have been
tabulated,a written report is prepared that consists of all the data obtained from the testing, interviews and
corroboratrive evidence. The written report is then forwarded to the referring Department.
Dr.Bargreen agrees to contact and schedule an appointment with each applicant within one week of receiving a
referral. Additionally,Dr.Bargreen will administer and evaluate the Minnesota Multiphasic
Personality Inventory-Second Edition(MMPI-II),Beck Depression Scale-Second Edition(BDI-2),Trauma
Symptom Inventory(TSI),for each referred applicant. Each completed report will include evaluations of the
applicant's learning skills and abilities, judgment and ability to problem solve, work attitudes and dependability,
working relationships and corroborated data collected from interviews with a Department representative from the
referring agency.
