LALANDAU <br /> ASSOCIA TES <br /> EXHIBIT B <br /> Port of Everett Combined Sewer Improvements Environmental <br /> Support—Estimated Cost <br /> The estimated budget is detailed in the table below and is based on the information provided to <br /> Landau Associates, Inc.(LAI),our previous experience with similar projects,and on the assumptions <br /> stated in Exhibit A. If unforeseen conditions are encountered or out-of-scope work or level of effort <br /> are anticipated,we will bring these to your attention and seek modification to the scope of services <br /> and budget, as appropriate. LAI will not exceed the total estimated fee for the above-described <br /> services without prior authorization from the City. LAI's services will be provided on a time-and- <br /> expenses basis in accordance with the attached compensation schedule,which represents an <br /> approximately 5 percent discount of current LAI rates. <br /> LAI recognizes that some of the scoped efforts may be duplicated when LAI supports both the City and <br /> Port projects; in particular,these costs assume full-time on-site support during construction. <br /> Efficiencies may be realized when the City and Port projects are implemented concurrently, and one <br /> LAI field staff member is adequate to support on-site needs of both. LAI costs to both the City and the <br /> Port will be proportional to the level of effort required.
