Hello Eddie, I researched permit records and available documents related to your inquiry for the detached accessory structure located at 4010 Federal Ave. Here is my findings and determination. I am unable to locate any permits specific to the construction of the detached accessory structure. The absence of required permits for this building indicates that it was erected without required approvals in an Unlawful manner as defined by IPMC section 108.1.4 Your findings that the structure is being used for Habitable Space is also a violation of code due to the unpermitted nature of the structure and the lack of required features and inspections for a building of this kind. IPMC 108.1.4 Based on my research and study of your photo attachments is my determination that this accessory structure is Unlawful as stated and because of this Unfit for human occupancy as outlined in IPMC section 108.1.3 Thank you for the opportunity to provide assistance in this matter.
