March 2, 2022 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 p.m., <br /> March 2, 2022, by President Stonecipher. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Franklin and Council Members Rhyne, <br /> Schwab, Zarlingo, Fosse, Tuohy, Vogeli, and President Stonecipher were present. <br /> Council Member Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> On behalf of the City Council, Council Member Rhyne acknowledged the original <br /> inhabitants of this place, the sduhubs people and their successors, the Tulalip <br /> Tribes. <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> The minutes of February 23, 2022, were approved as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Franklin took a moment to acknowledge the horrific crisis occurring in the <br /> country of Ukraine. She recognized the community members, whose friends, and <br /> families, have directly experienced this violence and devastation and <br /> acknowledged some City of Everett staff members impacted. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Comments and liaison reports were provided by Council Members Rhyne, Schwab, <br /> Zarlingo, Fosse, Tuohy, Vogeli, and President Stonecipher. <br /> President Stonecipher announced that there would be no council meeting on <br /> March 16, 2022, due to the lack of a quorum. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Deputy Mayor Nick Harper had no updates. <br /> Lori Cummings introduced Nichole Webber, from the Executive Team, to provide <br /> a briefing on the transition back to in-person council meetings. <br /> 1 <br />
