EMPOWER <br /> RETIREMENT' <br /> Plan Sponsor can instruct and authorize Empower to allow online Participant enrollment. Plan <br /> Sponsor instructs Empower to issue a Personal Identification Number("PIN")to every eligible <br /> employee, allowing enrollment in the Plan through the Web site and VRU. <br /> 3. Automatic Enrollment <br /> Empower can perform automatic enrollment and deferral increase services, and create and <br /> mail initial and annual automatic enrollment notices, as elected by Plan Sponsor in good order <br /> and in a form acceptable to Empower. <br /> 4. Deferral Processing <br /> Plan Sponsor can instruct and authorize Empower to provide for deferral processing by the <br /> Plan Sponsor via the Web site. Participants may access the Web site to input the required <br /> payroll deferral amount/percentage information. Plan Sponsor acknowledges that the Deferral <br /> Processing service described in this Section shall only be available as long as Empower is the <br /> sole record keeper for the Plan. <br /> If Plan Sponsor uses Empower's Automatic Enrollment services, Deferral Processing does not <br /> require separate election. <br /> 5. Vesting Services <br /> Plan Sponsor needs to provide Empower all information necessary to perform vesting <br /> services. Employer hereby instructs and authorizes Empower to: <br /> a. Maintain each Participant's vesting percentage on Empower's recordkeeping system; <br /> b. Display the Participant's vested account balance on the quarterly statements; and <br /> c. Calculate and process withdrawals and/or loans according to the vested percentage. <br /> 6. Loan Approval <br /> Plan Sponsor can instruct and authorize Empower to process,without further Plan Sponsor <br /> approval, Participant loan requests submitted in a manner acceptable to Empower. If the Plan <br /> is subject to spousal consent requirements, loans may only be initiated by paper forms and not <br /> online or by VRU. Plan Sponsor agrees to specifically authorize each principal residence loan <br /> request. <br /> 7. Distribution Processing <br /> Plan Sponsor can instruct and authorize Empower to process,without further Plan Sponsor <br /> approval, requests for distributions in good order and in a manner acceptable to Empower. If <br /> Plan Sponsor does not provide the Participant's termination date or other required information, <br /> Plan Sponsor instructs Empower to route the request to Plan Sponsor for approval before <br /> processing the distribution. <br /> 8.
