We've since started construction and have run into a few issues with the existing <br /> chimney; mainly that it is settling into the earth and pulling the house done with it. The builder, owner,and I are <br /> meeting onsite next Thursday to discuss what to do about this. One of the proposed solutions is to tear it <br /> down. Given that this is a contributing structure, are we allowed to remove the chimney without replacing it?
