!
ENGINEERING
;Tad PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT
April 26, 2018
Francisco Beza
bezafa@comcast.net
Iglesia Ni Christo
6110 Colby Ave.
Everett, WA 98203
RE: Owner: Iglesia Ni Christo
Job Address: 6110 Colby Ave.
Plan Check Number: B1804-040
Dear Mr. Beza,
In response to your application for a construction permit, your plans have been examined and you
are advised that revisions may be necessary before a permit can be issued. Please review and
respond to the comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional
revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Building Architectural, Public
Works, Planning, or Fire). All references refer to the 2015 International Building Code (IBC), the
2015 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2015 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2015
Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by
the City of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009
"Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities" (ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and
standards may be more restrictive.
In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to
provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents
reflecting the corrections requested. All revisions require the person delivering the
drawings to replace the revisions into the two sets here at our offices. For significant
revisions, or if the revisions are coming directly from a document printing facility,
please make arrangements with them to print and deliver two replacement sets.
Structural
1. It appears that the structural calculations for the proposed steeple contains reaction forces
to be imposed on new 4x6 wood blocking that are proposed to be connected to the existing
roof framing. Also, please provide additional calculations verifying the strength and
deflections of the existing roof framing due to the additional loading from the proposed
steeple.
CITY OF EVERETT• 3200 Cedar Street • Everett,WA 98201 • (425) 257-8810 • Fax(425) 257-8857
