We proceeded to submit the site plan with his approval. Our parking count is tight as it is and
adding 4'to each drive aisle will result in the loss of an entire row of parking.
• All accessible parking must be 18.5' long—We also proposed the accessible parking stall layout to Michael Brick
in the same email in which he responded that only the widths of accessible parking may not be reduced. Since
we were not proposing to reduce the widths,we were told this wouldn't be an issue.
• Not acceptable to mix compact and standard stalls here—Section 3-5.1.0 of the COE Specifications states "The
compact stalls are located together and are not intermixed with the standard parking stalls."Our layout in this
area shows four compact stalls located together and not intermixed with standard stalls, but located at the end
of a run of standard parking stalls. It seems that the City specification wants to avoid having standard and
compact stalls alternating.
• Also, did the Fire Marshall have a chance to review or provide comments on the site plan?Just want to make
sure since Jim had quite a few comments on the Hotel property.
Thank you again for your time and assistance on this, and please let me know if you have any comments or questions for
me.
ShareFile Attachments
FW Michael Brick -Traffic Questions and R...ses.rnsg 33..5 KB
RE Waterfront Place Apartments - parking .._ons.msg 74.5 I«
WFP Apartments_COE Redlines_C2.01.pdf 15.8 MB
C.---)3
