There is a 10% matching requirement of $7,510. The total of $82,610 will be used to purchase 165 firehose nozzles, which will improve the capability of fire crews to engage fires effectively and put them out as quickly as possible. The Department was not able to facilitate the purchase by year-end 2021 and requests to carryforward the grant and matching funds to purchase the equipment in 2022.
