Their findings indicate that installing a backwater valve on your property would be beneficial. Piease review [he enclosed report. Previously, you signed the Oackwaler Valve Authnrl�ation Form authorizing the City to install a backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, we are proceeding with the installation. The City's contractor, Welwest Construction, will be contading you in Pebruary to schedule the work. This will require some excavation on your property. The Ciry will provlde you on-site training on the operetion and maintenance of the backwater valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainage on your property are your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site drainage and plumbing deficiencies fn your private drainage and plumbing system. These include: • Sewer line has sags inside the building . Clean out under garage is not accessible These deficiencies are,your responsibility to address, as you desire. The City is not responsible for fulure setver or storm damages that may result from improper maintenance of, or deficiencies within, your private plumbing and drainage system.
