Their findings indicate that installing a backwater valve on your property would be beneficial. Please review the enclosed report. Previously, you signed the Backwater Valve Authorizatlon Form authorfzing the City to inslall a backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspe�Uon report,we are proceeding with the installatlon. The City's contractor, Welwest Construdion, wlll be contacting you In February to schedule the work. This will require some excavation on your property. The C(ry will provide you on-site training on the operation and malntenance oF the backwater valve. Maintenance of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainage on yaur property are your responsibiliry. The Inspection IdentlFled additional site dreinage and plumbing deficfencies In your private dreinage and plumbing system. These include; • No grade in side sewer, Ieaving sags holding water and debris These deFlciencies are your responsibility to address, as you desire.The City Is not responsible for future sewer or storm damages that may result from improper maintenance o(, or deficiencies within, your private plumbing and dreinage system.
