Please review the enclosed report. Previously, you signed the Backwater Valve Authorization Form authorizing the City to install a backwater valve at your property. Based on the inspection report, we are proceeding with the installation. The City's contracEor Archer Construction. will be contacting vou in March to schedule the work.This will require some excavation on your property. The City will provide you on-site trainfng on the operation and maintenance of the backwater � valve. Maintenanie of the valve and the plumbing, sewer, and drainage on your property are your responsibility. The inspection identified additional site drainage and plumbing deficiencies in your private drainage and plumbing syslem, 'These include: • The toilet flange and shut-offs leak and should be repaired These deficiencies are your responsibility to address, as you desirr. 7he Ciry is not responsible for future sewer or storm damages that may result from improper maintenance of, or deficiencies within, your private plumbing and drainage system.
