EVERETT <br /> WASHINGTON <br /> 7758 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION adopting the 2022 Surface Water Comprehensive Plan <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> A. On July 18, 2018, City Council adopted Resolution No. 7270 adopting the 2017 City of Everett Surface <br /> Water Comprehensive Plan. <br /> B. The State of Washington Department of Ecology requires that municipalities issued the National <br /> Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit complete and <br /> submit a Receiving Water Conditions Assessment by March 31, 2022. <br /> C. The Municipal Stormwater Permit(Permit) requires reporting of a watershed inventory based on the <br /> delineation of basins and identification of receiving waters by March 31, 2022. <br /> D. The Permit requires the assessment of stormwater management influence on receiving waters by <br /> March 31, 2022. <br /> E. The Permit requires the City to implement a Stormwater Planning program to inform and assist in <br /> the development of policies and strategies as water quality management tools to protect receiving <br /> waters. <br /> F. The Permit requires the City to report on relevant land use planning efforts used to accommodate <br /> growth, stormwater management, and transportation and the list of projects from such planning <br /> efforts. <br /> G. The Permit requires reporting of identified land acquisitions that are useful for stormwater facilities <br /> to accommodate growth and better serve existing developed areas. <br /> H. The Permit requires reporting of updates to goals and policies for investment in stormwater <br /> management facilities and best management practices. <br />
