City of Everett 01 1100 - 6 <br /> 2022 Biosolids Removal and Disposal UT 3752-30 ' <br /> 5. Any spillage of biosolids, fuel, or any debris or materials associated with the <br /> Contractor's activities or operations must be reported to the City's Project <br /> Manager as soon as possible. <br /> 6. The Contractor shall clean up any spills immediately per the Contractor's <br /> approved Spill Prevention Plan and Hauling Handbook in a manner <br /> 111 <br /> approved of by the City's Project Manager. Spill response and cleanup shall <br /> be at the Contractor's expense. See Section 01 5000 Temporary and <br /> Environmental Controls, 1.10 Spill Prevention. I <br /> C. Compatibility with Landfill <br /> 1. Due to the sample results in Appendix D, the City intends to landfill the I <br /> biosolids removed from the Oxidation Pond. <br /> 2. Contractor will coordinate and dispose of biosolids at an approved solid <br /> waste facility as appropriate. <br /> 3. Any work and fees associated with disposal shall be incidental to the unit <br /> price bid for Dry Tons Biosolids Transported & Disposed of at an Approved <br /> Site. <br /> D. WPCF Truck Scale <br /> 1. The City will provide a certified truck scale on the Biosolids Pad for the <br /> Contractor to use. The scale will be used to weigh loads as they are moved <br /> to the temporary storage area on the City's Biosolids Pad and prior to <br /> hauling off site for final disposal. <br /> 2. Each truck will be weighed before and after loading biosolids to accurately <br /> calculate the weight of biosolids transported. This means that each truck <br /> load will have two scale tickets, one from the empty condition and one from <br /> full. Both tickets are required for payment. <br /> 3. Upon completion of the work, the Contractor will be responsible for <br /> returning the truck scale to its original condition at the start of the project. <br /> All damage to the truck scale will be the responsibility of the Contractor to <br /> repair to the satisfaction of the City's Project Manager. <br /> 1.9 ADDITIONS TO, OR DEDUCTIONS FROM, THE CONTRACT ' <br /> A. The authorization of all Additions to, or Deductions from, labor and materials, as <br /> called for in the Contract, shall be given only upon the Owner's printed change <br /> order form bearing the signatures of the Owner, the Contractor, and the <br /> Architect/Engineer. <br /> 1 <br /> i <br /> 01 1100 - 6 SUMMARY OF WORK ' <br />
