I <br /> City of Everett 00 1113 - 1 <br /> I2022 WPCF Biosolids Removal and Disposal UT 3752-30 <br /> ISECTION 00 1113 -ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the 2022 BIOSOLIDS REMOVAL AND <br /> IDISPOSAL will be received at the Purchasing Counter, 3200 Cedar Street, Door #5, <br /> Everett, WA, 98201, until 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022. The Purchasing <br /> I Counter is open Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 3:00pm. At the appointed time, all bids <br /> will be opened and read aloud publicly via webcast only. The link for the webcast is <br /> located at https//www.everettwa.gov/319/purchasing. For questions regarding logging <br /> I into the webcast call (425) 257-8903. The engineer's estimate for this Project is <br /> $1,400,000, not including sales tax. <br /> IThe City of Everett owns a Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) located near Everett, <br /> WA and is seeking a Contractor to dredge, dewater, haul, and dispose of approximately <br /> I 2,000 dry tons of biosolids from the City's Oxidation Pond at the WPCF. The Water <br /> Pollution Control Facility is located at 4027 4th Street Southeast, Everett WA. Contractor <br /> is expected to conduct their operations and manage the dewatered biosolids on the City's <br /> Biosolids Pad. Mandatory pre-bid walk-throughs are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. on <br /> IJanuary 6rd, 2022 and at 10:30 a.m. on January 11th, 2022. All bidders are required <br /> to attend a walk-through one of the two dates provided. All state mandated COVID <br /> regulations shall be followed at these meetings. Prospective bidders will meet at the <br /> IWPCF for the walk-through. Any questions and/or answers from these walk throughs that <br /> may affect the bid will be included in an addendum to the bid documents and sent to all <br /> Ithe plan holders. <br /> I Free-of-charge access to project bid documents (plans, specifications, addenda, and <br /> Bidders List) is provided to Prime Bidders, Subcontractors, and Vendors by going to <br /> www.bxwa.com and clicking on "Posted Projects", "Public Works", and "City of <br /> I Everett". This online plan room provides Bidders with fully usable online documents with <br /> the ability to: download, view, print, order full/partial plan sets from numerous <br /> reprographic sources, and a free online digitizer/take-off tool. It is recommended that <br /> I Bidders "Register" in order to receive automatic e-mail notification of future addenda and <br /> to place themselves on the "Self-Registered Bidders List". Bidders that do not register <br /> will not be automatically notified of addenda and will need to periodically check the on- <br /> line plan room for addenda issued on this project.
